Makenna, a Chardon High School graduate and current Wittenberg University student-athlete, has played lacrosse for almost 11 years. Makenna was a Girl Scout of 13 years and spent lots of time in service. She created LAX-ABLED as a sophomore by combining her passion for lacrosse and empathy for others. In high school, Makenna was also involved in the National Honors Society, Interact Club, Hilltopper Minds Matter (HMM/OMM), and Morgan's Message. Now, she is involved in the Wittenberg Women's Lacrosse Program and a member of the Gamma Phi Beta sorority.
